Une amie est partie .....mon coeur est triste .....

58f131cb58108

Patricia Ann Brown, 65, went to be with the Lord while in her Flagstaff home on April 10, 2017.

She was the only daughter born to Laddie Hrabik and Gladys Wiechmann on October 9, 1951, in Gaylord, MN. After graduating from Winthrop High School in 1969, Patty pursued her passion for people and travel by moving to Denmark and later Israel where she learned Hebrew.

In 1997, she married the love of her life Kurt Brown and moved to Flagstaff where she attended Flagstaff Tabernacle for more than twenty years. Patty was a homemaker until her children were grown, and she began an accounting career which included tax preparation at H&R Block as well as financial management of the family business, Flagstaff Window Cleaning.

Patty often had words of wisdom, but she once said that there were three things that were most important, “Be kind to others, learn something new every day, and always do your very best.” This was evident in her life as some of her many hobbies included traveling, language, scrapbooking, sewing, gardening, reading, quilting, and cooking - 15 pies with Thanksgiving dinner!

She is survived by her husband Kurt Brown; seven children and their spouses, Jesse Brown, Rebekah Fontagneres, Matthew Brown, Stephen Fontagneres, Melissa Brown, David and Sharon Fontagneres, Mary and C.E. Blanton; and eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday, April 22, at Flagstaff Tabernacle. Memories and condolences can be shared with her family directly or online at www.norvelowensmortuary.com
